Hangeng reveals that he wants to fulfill Lee Teuk’s dream

Two weeks ago, the members of Super Junior made an appearance on MBC’s Chuseok special, “Radio Star Super Show.” On the show, the guys talked about the issues surrounding members Kangin and Hangeng / Hankyung.

Regarding Hankyung and his decision to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment, the members stated, “We still can’t get in contact with Hankyung. We were all very close with him but we are unable to contact him separately. We honestly felt disappointed when reports said that his life in Korea was difficult and that the Super Junior members didn’t take care of him.”

Super Junior leader Lee Teuk also shared his thoughts about working with Hankyung stating, “We leave an empty space for Hankyung. My one dream is to stand on stage with all 13 of us and perform before I leave for the army. I hope for it to happen.”

During a recent interview, Hankyung was asked about Lee Teuk’s dream and responded that he would like to fulfill that dream. You can view the whole interview subbed in English below, thanks to everyone who sent this in.

Hangeng Fansigning In Singapore + Pictures

HELLO EVERYONE!!
Did any of you go to the Fansigning yesterday? I hope you guys did, because Hangeng is simply AWESOME! Yes, he is and he's really cute too. We waited at the side of the building until about 1.30PM, and then we were led up to the Roof Garden of Lot1 Shopping Mall by the security guard. The wait was long, but it was all worth it. Fans from many countries came. And I'm glad there's so many ELFs out there supporting Hangeng still.

Halfway through, there was an argument between fans though. All I heard was a China lady shouting and after that people were shouting back. After hearing from my friend, what happened was, when a Hong Kong photographer wanted to take a picture of the fans, there was a Hanchul fan holding up a board or something. She the China lady was shouting something like, "You can only support a person" or something like that.
I just want to let all of you know, I still see Hangeng as part of Super Junior even though he isn't in the group anymore. As in I love Super Junior and I love Hangeng too. So i don't see why people should start bashing Super Junior/Hangeng. Please support them okay?

Anyway, Hangeng only went up on stage about 4.20PM. So fans went screaming and cameras went clicking. Finally when Hangeng was on stage, everyone sang "Wings Of Love" for him. He stood there looking a little stunned. When the fans sang the song again, he sang along with everyone. After that was a short game. The DJ or Hangeng would ask a question and if a fan got it right, they would win a poster. The 3 questions asked were what his shoe size was, what the name of the album was and what was the last song on his album.

After that was fansigning. Ticket holders to Hangeng's showcase had priority queue, so all ticket holders had their albums signed. By then only 8 minutes left, cuz the fansigning was held only for an hour. So only 40-50 fans with no tickets had the chance to get their albums signed. I'm glad I was the lucky few with signed autographs. Hangeng is really genuine. AND HE IS SO HANDSOME!! He listens to what you say and he went "Uh huh, uh huh.. Thank you!" and he lifts his head up and SMILE. OMG DIES.. HE SMILED AT ME!! XDDDDDDDD I was stunned that I totally forgot to ask for a handshake. And I stood there staring at him. >.< I FEEL SO DUMB!!

I feel sorry for the rest of the fans because after the fansigning ended, I saw loads of dejected fans leaving the roof garden. Don't worry fans, hopefully Hangeng would come to Singapore again. Cuz i seriously hope to see him again. AND THE NEXT TIME I SEE HIM!! I GOTTA SHAKE HIS HAND!!

Trivia: Hangeng's shoe size is 42.

Eunhyuk and Shindong will direct Super Show 3

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Shindong will become directors for their upcoming concert.
Super Junior’s rep said on the 11th, “Eunhyuk and Shindong are directing Super Junior’s concert staging.”
The rep continued, “They are watching and staging all the performances where the members are moving around a lot. They are working hard and preparing so please look forward to it.”
Eunhyuk updated his Twitter saying, “There so much to do but not enough time to do it all. Even sleeping is waste of time. Did I make a mistake becoming a stage director? Shindong, fighting for both of us!”
Super Junior’s The 3rd Asia Tour – Super Show 3 is coming up, and that’s the tour they’re staging. I’m sure they’ll pull it off.

Hankyung releases 2 new MVs!!

Hangeng releases two new MVs for debut Mandarin solo album

After releasing his first MV, Fire last week, Hangeng has now revealed the final two MVs for his debut Mandarin solo album, Geng Xin on July 28th.

Unlike the his first MV which was really flashy and packed with power dancing, Hangeng’s two new MVs for his new songs, Say No and Holding An Umbrella are more down to earth and with some drama thrown in.

Hangeng’s new album was released earlier this week in China and he will continue promotions in the country. Thereafter the album will also be released in other Asian countries and currently, he is scheduled to visit Taiwan in August and Singapore (Malaysia to be confirmed) in September for album promotions.

Hangeng plagiarized Yunho’s Checkmate for his new single?

Hangeng’s (in Korean, Hankyung) very new Chinese single, Fire has recently fallen into plagiarism accusations to a K-pop song, written and sung and choreographed by his former SM-mate,Yunho of TVXQ.

Hangeng recently released the music video for Fire through Youtube, and the viewers couldn’t help but to notice strikingly similar features with Yunho’s self-written song, titled Checkmate. Some netizens emphasized the similarities by commenting, “Besides the fact that the lyrics are in different languages, the song is completely the same,” “Not only is the whole melody similar, but the songs’ introductions are entirely too identical,” etc.

Yunho’s Checkmate has never been performed on air, but was enlisted as one of tracks in TVXQ’s album MIROTIC. The song was revealed and performed publicly in February 20th, 2009 at TVXQ’s Asia Tour Councert MIROTIC, where all members of Super Junior attended to join the celebration. This clearly suggests that Hangeng was aware of the song’s existence. Check out the two songs below.

Wow!! Seriously, it just sounds somewhat similar. Not entirely. If you listen closely, the tune doesn't really sound alike at all. If this is called plagiarism, than what do you call all those copycat boybands/girl groups out there? PEOPLE SHOULD GET A LIFE.

Yes I'm unhappy about it because, if you're an E.L.F or Cassiopeian, you would understand that at least a few DBSK and Super Junior's songs sound alike.. because THEY'RE FROM THE SAME COMPANY WITH THE SAME SONG WRITERS AND MUSICIANS!! like DUH!!

Anyways, this is NOT plagiarism. dance-heavy songs with dance/techno beats usually sound a little similar. I mean like, if you search other pop artistes from not only Korea but worldwide, you may find loads of similarities.

and i'm unhappy cuz, people are always saying Kpop artistes plagiarize this, plagiarize that, and they even accused hip-hop group Epik High, especially Tablo of plagiarism. But sadly, these people don't understand anything about music.

Hangeng releases second track!!

Hangeng releases second track, Wings of Love

Talented singer Hangeng recently released an interview as well as rehearsal footage to get fans hyped up for his solo concert, and to further spice things up, his second track from album Geng Xin was released!

The song was actually composed by a fan back in 2007 that went by the name of Shi Lei, being a gift and promise to Hangeng from his fans. In order to express his gratitude for having such amazing fans, he sang the song himself with some small tweaks.

I remember i used to go to Hankyung's cyworld just to listen to this song. It was originally sung by a fan. And now that hankyung's singing it.. omg i love it!! ^^ he's really really sweet!! Hankyung sarang hae!!

Having earlier revealed plans to release his debut solo Chinese album and a solo concert, Hangeng has now revealed the teaser for his upcoming album.

Ahead of his album release on the 27th of July, the teaser for his MV which was shot in New Zealand has been revealed, with a movie like storyline and high production values. Check it out below!

Super Junior Coming To Singapore?^^

Hi everyone!!
I guess most of you heard the news about Super Junior coming to Singapore. Okay, well, apparently they would be in Singapore for a concert/showcase on 6th June 2010. I'm not sure though, cuz according to the Super Junior official website, there's nothing about the concert in Singapore in the schedule.

But here's some information for all you fans!!
According to Singtel, to get A PAIR of the Super Junior Concert tickets, you gotta be the first 800 to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S 19000. The price of the phone should be around $600++, which means the value of a ticket is approximately $3.

Unfortunately, from what I know now, there is no other ways to get the tickets unless you buy the phone. So yeah, and also, the tickets are limited. So at this point of time i'm typing, most of the tickets should already be sold out.

Also, there are no flight details regarding their arrival and stuff.. but if you think about it, they might be in SG around 1AM to about 6AM?? not official, so i don't wanna confirm anything yet. They do have a performance on one of the music programs on 5th June, which means they would only be in SG in the day of the concert itself.

Yeahh so that's all i can tell you guys at the moment.
Good luck on getting the tickets if you can!! ^^

PS. Hankyung seems to be MIA now.. there's like totally no news about him for a while now. Hope he's fine. HANKYUNG HWAITING!!
